With support from the John Whitgift Foundation and Croydon Council, we opened the Carers Support Centre in 2013 and created the local hub for carers. It is located in George Street, Croydon and is also home to a number of voluntary and community sector organisations. The Centre is a friendly and lively place where carers can meet, join in with activities and get vital information and advice to support them in their caring role.

As Mayor of Croydon I thank you all for your hard work, compassion, commitment and sheer dedication to go above and beyond. A certificate of recognition is awarded to the Carers Information Service for your incredible work carried out during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Sherwan Chowdhury
